WHO IS EYE MANAGEMENT
FAIRLIGHT HUBBARD: CO-OWNER
Fairlight Hubbard, is the Co-Owner of EYE Management, a respected Mother Agency specializing in the development and scouting of high fashion models. With over 25 years in the business, Fairlight started her modeling career at the age of two, landing the cover of Better Homes and Gardens. Finding a love in front of the camera, Fairlight spent the next 17 years modeling and acting with some of the industries most respected agencies, such as Ford, Next Model Mgmt., and Click. Along the way, Fairlight also discovered and perfected her love of art and her passion for creating, studying Fashion Design, Graphics, and Photography. This combined skill set led her to design Couture wedding gowns, accessories, and jewelry carried in exclusive stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as Red Carpet gowns for music celebrities whom she styled from head to toe. Her most recently recognized fashion project, was the editorial that became an internet sensation, "Extra Extra, Paper Doll." Featuring garments she hand constructed out of newspaper, Fairlight produced this noteworthy "green" project from start to finish, doing the hair & make-up, photography, and design.
So you might be asking, what else is up the sleeve of this renaissance gal? Well the answer isn't short, with a love of all the many hats she has worn, she added a couple others to the collection. After years of modeling, designing, and educating, and finding herself more at home behind the camera, Fairlight went on to form IMPACT, a full service production company specializing in portfolios and promotional photography for models, actors, and entertainers. It is here she would gain a true sense of her craft, as she produced marketing material for literally thousands of models, celebrities, and musicians. It is also at this time, Fairlight met who would become her best friend and business partner, Amy M. Phillips. It did not take long to realize the common background and interests they shared and shortly after, they combined forces to create EYE Management, a high fashion scouting and development agency, specializing in the placement and management of models. Today, Fairlight splits her time between the camera and scouting, but often times find they collide. Spending 80 percent of their time on the road, both Fairlight and Amy scout the country for the next new face, while photographing editorials, ads, and portfolios along the way.
AMY M. PHILLIPS: CO-OWNER
Amy M. Phillips began her career as a model over 27 years ago when she landed her first modeling job for Wrangler Jeans Company. As a Fashion Retail Editor, Amy traveled the United States organizing and commentating fashion shows for television, major department stores and renowned designers. To understand Amy's next career moves we have to revisit her childhood where she dreamed of being an artist. This dream would lead Amy to attend a college for Fine and Commercial Art as a young adult. Through her passion and love of art, Amy became a celebrity hair and makeup artist. Amy traveled and worked with such artists as Sugarland, 3 Doors Down, Garth Brooks, George Straight, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and Naomi Judd to name just a few. As a stylist, Amy worked closely with numerous record labels and artist management companies to develop the artist(s) image for live performance, promotional and cd releases. Among all of these talents, Amy also has been a modeling educator and has been developing models, talent and entertainers for major agencies, conventions and other mother agencies for over 15 years. In the process of developing, Amy began a company called Scout, where she would develop, place and manage models who she would sign major agencies in the US and abroad. Shortly after she began her scouting company, she met Fairlight Hubbard, who would become her best friend and business partner. After recognizing their similar interests and talents, Amy and Fairlight decided to join forces and open EYE MODEL MANAGEMENT.
